Team Hellas Opens Canada Cup Pool Play Against The Netherlands

The Hellas National Softball Team is set to begin its 2025 Canada Cup campaign with a highly anticipated opening matchup against the Netherlands. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Softball City in Surrey, British Columbia.

Team Hellas arrives in Canada with energy, focus, and a renewed sense of purpose. The roster features a competitive mix of returning veterans and promising new talent. 

The coaching staff has emphasized fundamentals across the board, strong defense, smart baserunning, and consistent pitching which will be critical in the opener against a strong Dutch squad. The Netherlands is known for its sharp infield play, disciplined at bats, and aggressive offensive approach, making them a challenging first opponent for Greece.
